About Darkened Skies

Darkened Skies started back in 2018, with the goal of creating music that would blend genres and create a unique sound.  Starting with husband and wife duo Sharon and James Purdy leading the pack on vocals and guitar, Quin Golem on bass, John Makrus on guitar and Andre Tellier on drums.

A penchant for blending genres and drawing inspiration from luminaries like Pink Floyd, Tesseract, Katatonia, Mastadon, and Tool, Darkened Skies crafts a sound that is both captivating and boundary-pushing.  

Our aim as always been to write and create art as best we can.

If we can get out there and showcase our art in any capacity we consider ourselves very lucky.
